Use of Service

Each time you access or use ServerRanks.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, including any updates or modifications made from time to time, with or without prior notice to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you use any specific feature, product, or service offered on or through ServerRanks.com, you may also be subject to additional terms, rules, or guidelines that apply to that feature or service. Those additional terms are incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference and form part of your agreement with us.

To access ServerRanks.com or certain parts of the Services, you may be required to register for an account and provide registration details or other information. You agree that any information you provide to us is accurate, current, and complete at all times, and that you will promptly update your information if it changes.

We may, in our sole discretion and as permitted by applicable law, refuse registration, restrict access, or suspend or terminate your account and/or access to the Services if we believe (a) the information you provided is inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or misleading, (b) your use of the site or Services violates these Terms & Conditions or any applicable rules, or (c) your use poses a security, legal, or operational risk to ServerRanks.com, our users, or our systems.

Membership & Registration

User Registration

When you register for an account on ServerRanks.com, the person creating the account (including by checking any box confirming they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions) is responsible for ensuring that the actual account owner has read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions if the account is being created on someone else's behalf. The person registering is also responsible for ensuring that any additional or secondary users who are granted access to the account or Services have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

You are solely responsible for obtaining access to the site and Services. Access may require third-party services and charges (for example, internet service provider fees, mobile data or airtime charges). You are responsible for all such fees and charges, including any fees associated with the display, loading, or delivery of advertisements. You are also responsible for providing and maintaining all hardware, software, and other equipment necessary to access and use the site and Services.

During registration, you may create a unique username and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts may require activation, and you must provide a valid email address to receive activation or verification messages. You must accept these Terms & Conditions to create an account.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to restrict or disallow usernames, email providers, domains, or other account identifiers we consider inappropriate, misleading, abusive, impersonating, or otherwise objectionable. We also reserve the right to cancel, ban, remove, suspend, restrict, or mute any account that violates these Terms & Conditions, attempts to evade enforcement, or otherwise uses the site or Services in a manner we deem inappropriate or harmful.

Membership

User accounts and passwords may not be sold, assigned, transferred, licensed, or otherwise provided to any third party without our prior written permission. We may limit account creation and usage, including restricting accounts to one per IP address and/or device/hardware identifier (HWID), and we may apply additional verification or anti-abuse measures at any time.

You agree that we may, at any time and without notice (to the extent permitted by applicable law), modify, suspend, discontinue, restrict, or terminate the site or any part of the Services, whether temporarily or permanently. We may also remove, delete, or disable access to data you submit or store through the Services. We are not responsible for the timeliness, deletion, misdelivery, failure to store, inaccuracy, or improper delivery of any data or information.

Email and Notices

By creating an account, you consent to receive service-related communications such as notices, warnings, security alerts, and site or account information at the email address associated with your account.

Where applicable, you may opt out of non-essential newsletters or promotional emails by using the unsubscribe mechanism provided or by contacting support. You understand that certain critical service messages (such as account verification, security notices, or legal notices) may not be optional.

Conduct and Termination

Your membership and continued access to the site and Services are based on your conduct and compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

We may revoke, suspend, restrict, or terminate your membership or access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms & Conditions, abused the Services, attempted to circumvent enforcement, or created risk or harm to the site, our users, or our systems.

Age Restrictions

Some content on the site may include imagery, language, or user-generated content that may not be suitable for everyone. By using the site, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 13, you must leave the site immediately and may not use or access the Services.

If you are between 13 and 17, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the site and Services. You agree not to bypass or attempt to bypass any security, access controls, or other protective features. We do not accept responsibility for misrepresentations regarding a user's age.

User Restrictions / Prohibited Conduct

We do not condone, allow, or tolerate behavior that involves any of the following (including attempting to do so, assisting others, or encouraging others to do so):

Uploading, posting, or promoting pornographic or sexually explicit content.
Uploading, posting, or promoting illegal content or facilitating illegal activity.
Uploading, posting, or promoting racist, hateful, or discriminatory content.
Creating, storing, distributing, or backing up copies of a server's data or asset files without authorization.
Attempting to alter user rights, permissions, or access beyond what is granted to you through the Services.
Using bots, scripts, automation, or artificial voting to manipulate rankings, votes, or engagement.
Falsifying, spoofing, or altering player counts or server status to abuse ranking or discovery systems.
Attempting to exploit, probe, scan, or attack the website, Services, or related infrastructure.
Redirecting users to another game server or competing service in a deceptive manner or without permission where required.
Copying another server's listing/content to impersonate, steal, mislead, or trick its player base.
Abusing the voting system, including vote fraud, vote laundering, or coordinated manipulation.
Abusing any API or data access features, including excessive requests, scraping beyond permitted limits, or bypassing rate limits.
Abusing community channels (including any Discord server or bot) connected to the site.
Abusing the review, rating, comment, or reporting systems (including harassment, brigading, or false reports).
Spamming, trolling, stalking, or harassing users on the site or in associated community spaces.
Engaging in abusive, threatening, hostile, or disruptive behavior toward users, moderators, admins, or support staff.
Registering more than one account using the same IP address and/or HWID, or attempting to evade account limits.
Attempting to exploit loopholes or technicalities to violate the spirit of these restrictions may result in permanent enforcement action.

Liability and User Content

You agree that your use of the site and Services is at your own risk. We are not liable for damages or losses you may suffer arising from your use of the site or Services, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not control material transmitted over the internet or posted by users, and we disclaim liability for user-generated content that is inaccurate, misleading, offensive, threatening, obscene, or otherwise unlawful. Users are solely responsible for the content they submit, publish, or display through the site and Services.

Voting, Ranking & Review System

Voting System

Voting is controlled by a per-user daily vote limit (the vote limit value is determined by your rank status). This limit is reset daily by a scheduled command and is configurable by administrators.
Downvotes require that the voter has first left a review for the server.
Votes may award ServerRank Tokens when configured - tokens-per-vote can come from a user's personal setting or from their subscription plan; the token amount is recorded on each vote and credited to the voter's balance when applicable.
Server owners may offer rewards to voters at their own discretion; such rewards are administered by the server owners and are not managed by ServerRanks.com beyond recording votes and tokens.
Using scripts, bots, automated systems, proxies, VPNs, or any other mechanism to manipulate votes or rankings is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension, server removal, or other enforcement actions.

Ranking System

Servers are ranked by votes and other metrics.
Servers that have featured status are displayed above all non-featured servers for the duration of their featured status.

Review System

Reviews express individual opinions and do not reflect ServerRanks.com.
We do not mediate disputes between users and server owners.
We reserve the right to remove any review with or without notice.
Reviews must be based on your experience on the server.
You may flag or report reviews that violate these Terms. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
Certain reviews may enter a pending state and require administrative approval before appearing publicly; administrators may publish, reject, or delete pending or reported reviews.
Server owners may reply to reviews on their server pages; owner replies are subject to the same content rules and may be moderated.
Reviews may include attachments where supported; attachments that violate these Terms (malware, copyrighted assets, doxxing) will be removed and may result in penalties.
Serious or repeated violations of the review rules may result in a permanent ban.
User-generated content reflects the views of its authors. We reserve the right to remove objectionable content.

Featured Listings

Featured listings are promotional placements that are displayed above non-featured listings and may receive additional visibility (for example, priority positioning, badges, or visual highlighting).

Featured placement is not a guarantee of traffic, clicks, votes, reviews, conversions, rankings, or any specific performance outcome.
We may change the appearance, positioning logic, rotation, duration, and eligibility rules for Featured listings at any time.
We may pause, remove, or disable a Featured listing if we believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, payment integrity rules, or creates abuse/security risk.
Featured status does not exempt a listing from enforcement actions, removal for extended downtime, or content moderation.
If a listing is removed or disabled for violations or abuse, any unused Featured time may be forfeited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Server Listings

We track and list game servers with real-time status monitoring. Server information is publicly available and provided by the respective platforms.

We reserve the right to remove servers for any reason with or without notice.
Servers offline for 5 days or longer are automatically removed by our system regardless of their claim status.
Country flags are determined by server IP addresses.
No game server on the internet is "private" unless the game's developer specifically says it is. If a game is public, or the developer provides dedicated server files, then the game and the servers running it are generally considered public information. That includes servers hosted on localhost, dedicated machines, cloud servers, or a home IP address.

Server Owners

Server owners can claim servers to gain management access and additional features. By claiming a server on ServerRanks.com you agree to the following:

ServerRanks.com staff will not auto-claim a server for you unless it is for clustering purposes only. You must follow the claim process each and every time you claim a server regardless of the visual evidence, order confirmations, or any such material.
You agree not to copy another server's name in an attempt to hurt its reputation or community status among others.
We reserve the right to remove servers for any reason with or without notice.
Servers offline for 5 days or longer are automatically removed by our system regardless of their claim status.
Server owners are responsible for maintaining accurate server information.
You agree not to display or promote other ranking sites without our permission.
You agree not to player-spoof or modify your online player numbers.
You agree not to link any website that is harmful or malicious.
You agree not to display offensive server banners.
You agree that if you use the Custom Server ID, it is not offensive.
You agree that ServerRanks.com staff may contact you by Discord or email if someone in your community is violating our Terms & Conditions. This includes users creating multiple accounts to target or benefit your server, harassing staff, abusing our systems while associated with your community, or claiming to be an admin of your server.
You agree ServerRanks.com is not responsible for server reviews left by others and we will not intervene, mediate, or get involved in server conflicts regarding review accuracy.
You agree ServerRanks.com is not responsible for server votes left by others and we will not intervene, mediate, or get involved in server conflicts. Claimed Server Owners have the option to disable voting and/or delete votes if they have the add-ons unlocked.
You agree that ServerRanks.com will not restore any server data if you choose to unclaim or delete a server you have claimed.

ServerRank Tokens™

ServerRank Tokens™ are a virtual currency used to feature and purchase site features on our site. Members can earn ServerRank Tokens™ by:

Having an active subscription. Members with an active subscription earn ServerRank Tokens™ at midnight CST daily. Subscribers also earn each time they cast a vote for a server.
Reporting bugs or problems you find on the site, including typos, grammar mistakes, display issues, or anything that doesn't work the way it should.
Promoting our site on your website.
Linking ServerRanks.com on your Steam Mod page if you are a mod creator.
Linking ServerRanks.com on your social media page if you are a content creator.

Subscriptions & Payments

We offer various subscription plans with different features and ranks for server owners and members. You agree to have full permission from the cardholder to complete the payment to ServerRanks.com. Before completing a transaction with ServerRanks.com, the account holder must read and agree to these conditions.

Payments are processed through secure gateways.
Subscriptions provide access to enhanced features.
Refunds are subject to our refund policy.
Account holders must authorize all payments.
Subscriptions are applied to your account immediately after a successful payment. Payments made by eCheck or bank transfer must fully clear before any subscription is added to your account.
We reserve the right to cancel services at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
During checkout, your IP address may be recorded for security purposes.
Filing a PayPal claim for any reason may result in permanent suspension of your account and removal of your server(s), even if your server is featured. Please contact support first so we can help resolve the issue.
All sales are final and nonreversible or refundable.

Since we do not control those sites or resources, you understand and agree that we are not responsible for their availability. We do not review, monitor, endorse, or guarantee any third-party sites, and we are not responsible for any content, advertising, products, services, or other materials available on or through them.

You also agree that ServerRanks.com is not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss that results (or is alleged to result) from your use of, or reliance on, any third-party content, goods, or services accessed through a link on our site. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ServerRanks.com and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
